Is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Arogyam Superspeciality Hospital, Nagpur with special interests in Joint Replacement, Trauma and Knee Arthroscopy.

He was a merit rank holder in both 10^th and 12^th board exams. Pursuing his childhood interest in biology, Dr Om graduated (MBBS) from the prestigious Government Medical College, Nagpur. He got tremendous exposure to management of complex trauma cases while pursuing his master’s degree (MS Orthopaedics) at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College & Sion Hospital, Mumbai, which is considered to be one of the busiest trauma centres in India. He also acquired DNB Orthopaedics degree from National Board of Examinations, New Delhi.

He further went on to do super-specialty training- Fellowship in Joint Replacement Surgery and Sports Medicine under one of the pioneers of the joint replacement surgery- Dr Ashok Rajgopal, at Fortis Hospitals, Delhi and Gurgaon. During his fellowship Dr Om got substantial exposure to Revision Joint Replacement surgeries as well as Robotic Knee Replacement Surgeries. Till date he has four research papers on Arthroplasty published in international journals and research on few others is ongoing. Dr Om also holds membership of the Indian Society of Hip and Knee Surgeons.

Apart from medical profession, Dr Om is a sports enthusiast and has played Lawn-tennis and Table-tennis at state level competitions. He has also had professional training in Classical Music and Tabla.

With his clinical and determined approach, Dr Om aims at providing comforting experience to the patients in need and help them walk pain free in their lives again.
